There is a new essay up on George Oxley Huestis, nephew and namesake of Reverend G.O. I had a delightful chat with this man's son, who is a retired Baptist missionary now living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I hope to have an essay for Rev. George Clifford Huestis up shortly.

I added a link in Sources to the online edition of Cyrus Black's record of the descendants of William Black. This book was written in 1883, published in 1885.

15 Nov '07 Be sure to check out the essays on Rev. George Oxley Huestis and Martin Huestis. I have finally managed to put George Oxley's children in order and to show their whereabouts as much as I know them. I have some very nice pictures from Daphne Irving (great-grand-daughter) of Martin and his family. Also note that Daphne has provided me with a picture of Joshua Huestis, on his page.
